About Scott Lewis:
It all started in Washington, DC when Scott and Ryan met as neighbors. Scott’s background in the military and Ryan’s background in aviation seeded the most important fundamentals at Spartan Investment Group – conservatism, due diligence, and a checklist driven approach. SIG started in residential and quickly moved into commercial development. Using the evaluation criteria of easy to manage, easy to maintain, easy to evict, we quickly settled on self-storage. In 2017, we acquired our first self-storage project and have since acquired more than 4,000 storage units, RV Parks, and have experienced massive growth in our team and our investors.
Today, Spartan is a team of 22, spread out over 4 states with offices in Denver and Seattle, and with over 1,600 investors in our tribe totaling $25M in capital raised.
From our early days of residential development to multimillion-dollar commercial deals, at every step along the way SIG has stayed true to our values.

Each of us served a career in uniform before moving on to become financial planners. And we each sat in the mandatory transition course wondering how we'd trained for our entire careers to perform dangerous tasks and missions with skill and confidence, only to arrive at the end of our careers and be told we should be afraid of everything coming next. The financial aspects of military retirement, in particular, were delivered through a fire hose in a few hours...except for the parts that weren't covered at all. At that point, we each knew what our next mission was, and we each spent the next several years pursuing it separately until meeting in 2017. Not too long after that, we determined we'd be better at it--and our clients would be better served--if we worked together. So now we do.

Bill Allen, a Navy pilot and real estate professional, is the CEO and owner of 7 Figure Flipping, where he leads the top house flipping and wholesaling mentoring groups in the nation. Just a few years ago, he was stuck flipping 1 or 2 houses per year and doing all the work himself, but since then, he’s built a systematized business that runs without him and has begun showing other investors how to do the same. In 2019, after running mastermind groups and events as the COO, Bill purchased the training and development company, House Flipping HQ.
In 2007, as an accidental landlord, Bill fell into real estate investing when he was deployed overseas and forced to leave his primary residence in San Diego. He was once again deployed from his home in Pensacola, FL in 2011. Upon his return from abroad and with marriage in his future, Bill worked on a plan to fully retire in his early 40’s. He started buying rental homes but quickly realized that he was running out of money quicker than he was building passive income to. That’s when Bill turned to house flipping to build the capital required to purchase more rentals.
Bill founded Blackjack Real Estate, LLC in 2015 with the mission of helping homeowners sell their homes for cash. The company started in Pensacola, FL and over time has expanded to Chattanooga and Nashville, TN and Huntsville, AL. Its strategic business plan allows them to remain incredibly fair with cash offers while still remaining profitable and creating valuable partnerships with local contractors, real estate professionals, and wholesalers. Based out of Nashville, TN, Bill and his team currently flip and wholesale 200+ deals per year in Tennessee and northern Florida. Nathan is officially retiring this October from the army after 19 years of service. He went into real estate in Hawaii when he was house-hacking for his friends. Getting back to the mainland, he tried flipping houses, started an LLC, got his first big deal, and eventually got to the point where he is now by his own hard work.

Brian Marzka is a service-disabled veteran with 22 years of experience in the interiors industry. Brian served in the U.S. Marine Corps studying counter terrorism and working at MCSF Cecil Field and MCSF Yorkstown. He later served as an infantry rifleman and scout swimmer with a special operations capable raid company, Fox Co. 2nd Battalion 5th Marines.
Brian Marzka is a Marine infantry veteran turned office furniture and design consultant. After being in business for almost 10 years as a dealer and facility solutions provider, Brian developed and sells his own brand of standing desk.
